Sistxrhood Ceramics

Gemma Cairney and Ceramist Charlie Russell have come together from different parts of the UK to create honour and ode through clay, making up the third stem of the triptych project... A collection of 12 ceramic goddesses.

The Immortal Sisterhood is about sisterhoods, mine and yours:

our hair roots,

our patterns,

our heartlands,

our bloodlines, motherlands, interconnections, our purpose and our past lives.​

We present Sistxrhood Ceramics:

Where the flora, fauna, colours, ephemera, reclamation and visual experience of each of the women, who feature in The Immortal Sisterhood book's childhoods and further lives have been thought about in their creation.

The collection will be exhibited in a special Scottish location in 2027. Keep an eye out for the announcement.
